Program Policies:
1. All tuition and all other fees must be paid in full before first class can be scheduled.
2. Each student must pay for class materials. Books can be purchased online at Amazon.com or a local bookstore. (Please order your books as soon as you register for the course to prevent late arrival of books for your course. We do not provide photocopies for books.)
3. Withdrawal on or after the first day of class does not relieve the student/responsible party from liability for tuition or other fees. There will be NO refunds after the first day of class has started.
4. Tuition and other fees are NOT transferable from student to student.
5. I agree to pay the tuition for the entire period of the chosen “term of commitment” for tuition, unless otherwise noted, and any other applicable fees listed on the form. Tuition will remain the same from the period to period for the chosen term of commitment, notwithstanding any changes in programs as may be deemed appropriate by Crossing Borders.
6. I understand that Crossing Borders reserves the right to dismiss either temporarily or permanently any student when, in Crossing Borders’ sole discretion and opinion, that student’s interests (welfare) or those of Crossing Borders’ would be served best by such action. Alternatively, Crossing Borders and I may make a mutual decision that my child's interests (welfare) or those of Crossing Borders' would be best served by his/her withdrawal.
7. The student and the responsible party acknowledge and agree that any photos, videos, voice recordings, or quotations including those of student taken or created by any Released Party (including without limitation any taken by any photographer or videographer paid by or volunteering for any Released Party) during or relating to their enrollment in one of our programs are the sole property of Crossing Borders and may be used in publications, web pages, promotions, advertisements and exhibits of Crossing Borders without the need of any additional permission from or consideration to the student or guardian. I release and waive for myself, the student, and anyone claiming through us all claims based on the right of privacy, right of publicity, moral rights, or any other intellectual property rights related to the rights granted by me to Crossing Borders.
8. THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT ARE NOT SUBJECT TO AMENDMENT OR MODIFICATIONS BY ORAL AGREEMENT.

Group Classes:
1. There are no “make-ups” for classes missed due to student illness or any other personal reasons.
2. All students must submit written notice of withdrawal two (2) weeks prior to the last day of attendance to stop new invoices.
3. Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal. In other words, we do not assume that students have dropped the course because of student non-attendance or missing classes; and students will be still required to fulfill the contract agreement.
4. I understand that I am obligated to pay the full chosen commitment tuition, and no reduction or credit will be granted if student withdraws after the first day of class, unless the withdrawal is made at the specific request of Crossing Borders Language Center, for loss of tuition payer’s employment, for death of tuition payer, or for job transfer out of our local area. (Proof must be provided.)
5. In the event of inclement weather, we will make every effort to announce a class cancellation as quickly as possible. We will make every effort to make up the missed class only as the availability of classrooms and instructors allow, but there will be no refunds in any instance.
6. There is no reduction or pro-rate for tuition due to holidays, sickness, personal trips, emergency closing dates of the language center or withdrawal any time during the year, except otherwise stated in this registration form. (Holidays are considered in the tuition calculation.)
7. Crossing Borders may cancel or reschedule a class at its discretion, and if it does, will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.
8. Crossing Borders is not liable for travel or accommodation costs incurred by students in the event of a cancellation.

3. You may not share or transfer your rights to access the Online Classes or provide an Online Class to any other person.
4. We reserve the right to monitor IP addresses that are used to access the Online Classes and, if a student is found to be in violation of the access rules, we may terminate your access. In such circumstances, no refund will be given.
5. You accept and acknowledge that you must agree to the terms and conditions of the third-party online platform provider to be able to access our classes. You may have to download and accept cookies from this third-party provider.
6. You also accept and acknowledge that Crossing Borders cannot be held responsible for any delay or disruptions to your access to the Online Classes. Students are responsible to have access to a reliable Internet service with enough wide band to support the online communication platform.

8. Crossing Borders reserves the right to remove any student from a class whose behavior is deemed inappropriate by Crossing Borders or its instructors. In these circumstances, Crossing Borders will neither refund any fees nor reimburse any other costs.
